The clear shield allows for visibility of needle tip during priming and automatically protects the needle before and after use. Safety mechanism is smoothly engaged during injection and needle is permanently shielded to prevent accidental needle-stick injuries. The user is provided with audio-visual indication when the needle is locked out via Click sound and disappearance of color-coded inner activation indicator.
